The AJAX Superior NVR H2DAI8PAC is a professional AI-powered network video recorder designed to bring advanced video surveillance into the Ajax security ecosystem.
Featuring 8 video channels and 8 integrated PoE ports, the NVR allows compatible IP cameras to be connected and powered directly from the recorder, helping simplify installation and reduce the need for additional network hardware.
The Superior NVR H2D platform includes built-in AI processing, allowing intelligent video analytics to be applied within the recorder. This makes it particularly useful for professional surveillance systems and for integrating compatible third-party IP cameras into an Ajax installation.
For reliable video storage, the NVR supports two hot-swappable hard drives, allowing drives to be replaced without shutting the recorder down. Ajax specifies support for drives of up to 24 TB each, providing substantial capacity for long-term video recording. Ajax also supports remote configuration and system management through its mobile and desktop applications.
A 4K HDMI output provides local viewing of connected cameras, while USB connectivity supports peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse or USB storage device. The recorder also supports integration with compatible IP cameras and third-party video systems using ONVIF and RTSP protocols. Ajax officially supports ONVIF Profile S along with selected functionality from Profiles T and M on its video devices.
