The Dahua DHI-NVR4108HS-8P-AI/ANZ is a powerful eight-channel network video recorder designed for residential and small-to-medium commercial CCTV systems. With eight built-in PoE ports, compatible IP cameras can receive power and data through a single network cable, helping simplify installation and reduce the need for separate power supplies.
Part of Dahua’s WizSense range, this NVR provides advanced artificial intelligence features for more accurate event detection and faster footage searching. Its built-in SMD Plus technology can distinguish between people and vehicles while filtering out common causes of false alarms, including moving leaves, rain and changing light conditions.
The recorder supports IP cameras with resolutions up to 16MP and delivers 4K HDMI video output for high-quality local viewing. With bandwidth of up to 256Mbps and simultaneous playback of up to eight channels, it is suitable for high-resolution, multi-camera surveillance systems.
Smart H.265+ video compression helps reduce storage and bandwidth requirements while maintaining clear recorded footage. A single internal SATA hard drive bay supports capacities up to 20TB, providing substantial storage for continuous or event-based recording.
Remote viewing through the Dahua DMSS app allows users to view live cameras, review recorded footage and receive security event notifications from compatible iOS and Android devices.
