HID Signo 20 Slim Reader, Standard Profile, Pigtail
The HID 20NKS-00 Signo 20 is a compact, multi-technology access-control reader designed for narrow door frames, aluminium mullions and other installations where mounting space is limited. Its slim, modern housing makes it suitable for commercial buildings, offices, warehouses, apartments and other controlled-entry applications.
The reader supports a broad range of credential technologies, including HID Seos, iCLASS SE, iCLASS, MIFARE Classic, MIFARE DESFire EV1, EV2 and EV3, along with legacy HID Prox, Indala Prox, Dorado Prox and EM Prox credentials. This allows existing access-control credentials to be retained while providing a straightforward upgrade path to newer smart-card and mobile-access technologies.
Built-in Bluetooth and NFC capability provides support for compatible HID Mobile Access credentials and credentials stored in Apple Wallet. Secure-element hardware protects cryptographic keys, while automatic surface detection helps optimise reading performance after installation.
The Signo 20 supports both OSDP and Wiegand communications, allowing it to be integrated with modern secure access-control systems as well as many existing controller platforms. The 20NKS-00 configuration features a black reader body with silver trim, a pigtail cable connection and a standard credential profile.
