HID Signo 40K Wide 3x4 Keypad Reader, Standard Profile, Pigtail
The HID 40KNKS-00 Signo 40K is a versatile, mobile-ready access-control reader featuring an integrated 3 × 4 touch keypad. Designed for wall or single-gang mounting, it supports card, fob, mobile credential and PIN-based access, making it ideal for applications requiring convenient multi-factor authentication.
This standard-profile model supports a broad range of credential technologies, including HID Seos, iCLASS SE, iCLASS, MIFARE Classic, MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2/EV3, HID Proximity, Indala, AWID and EM Proximity credentials. Native Bluetooth and NFC capability also provides support for HID Mobile Access and compatible credentials stored in Apple Wallet.
The reader supports OSDP secure channel and Wiegand communications, allowing it to integrate with both modern and existing access-control systems. Certified secure-element hardware protects cryptographic keys, while configuration and firmware management can be completed using HID Reader Manager or through an OSDP connection.
Built for indoor and outdoor installations, the Signo 40K has an IP65-rated polycarbonate housing, operates from 12V DC and is suitable for temperatures from -40°C to +66°C. The reader is supplied in a black finish with silver trim and a pigtail cable connection.
