The Hikvision DS-3E1518P-EI is a professional 16-port Gigabit smart managed PoE switch designed for reliable, high-performance IP CCTV and network installations.
Featuring 16 Gigabit PoE ports, a dedicated Gigabit RJ45 uplink and a Gigabit SFP fibre uplink, the DS-3E1518P-EI provides fast and dependable connectivity between your IP cameras, network video recorder and wider network. Its generous 230 W PoE power budget allows compatible cameras to receive both power and data through a single network cable, helping reduce installation time and cabling requirements.
Designed specifically for video security applications, the switch includes PoE watchdog technology that automatically detects and restarts unresponsive cameras. This can help restore camera connectivity without requiring the switch or camera to be manually rebooted.
Long-range transmission supports PoE and network connections of up to 300 metres on ports 1–16, depending on the connected camera and cable conditions. This makes the DS-3E1518P-EI well suited to warehouses, commercial properties and larger sites where cameras may be located further away from the main communications equipment.
Smart management features allow installers to monitor network health, view connected devices, troubleshoot faults and remotely manage the switch through its web interface or Hik-Partner Pro.
