The Hikvision iDS-2CD8A86G2-XZHS(Y) is an advanced dual-channel DeepinView bullet camera designed for high-security sites, vehicle monitoring and applications requiring both wide-area coverage and detailed long-range identification.
Its multi-sensor design combines an 8MP motorised varifocal camera with a 10–50mm lens for capturing distant detail, together with a 4MP fixed 4mm camera providing a broad panoramic view. This allows one camera to monitor the overall scene while simultaneously obtaining a closer, more detailed view of vehicles, people or other important targets.
Powered by Hikvision’s deep-learning technology, the camera supports intelligent human and vehicle classification, perimeter protection, face capture, multi-target detection and automatic number plate recognition. These advanced analytics help reduce false alarms while providing faster and more accurate event searching.
DarkFighter 2.0 low-light technology, 140dB WDR and integrated infrared and white-light illumination deliver clear images in challenging lighting conditions. The long-range channel provides supplementary lighting up to 120 metres, while the panoramic channel offers illumination up to 30 metres.
Built for demanding outdoor installations, the camera features an aluminium housing with IP67 weather resistance, IK10 vandal resistance, an integrated heater and demisting function. The Y version also provides moderate anti-corrosion protection and NEMA 4X compliance, making it better suited to corrosive or moderately coastal environments.
