The Hikvision iDS-7216HUHI-M2/XT is a powerful 16-channel AcuSense TurboHD DVR designed for larger residential and commercial CCTV systems. Its hybrid recording platform supports HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI, CVBS and IP cameras, making it an excellent choice for upgrading an existing coaxial system while retaining the flexibility to add high-resolution network cameras.
Hikvision’s deep-learning technology provides intelligent human and vehicle classification across all 16 analog channels, helping reduce false alarms caused by rain, moving leaves, lighting changes and other irrelevant activity. Advanced features including perimeter protection, facial recognition and AcuSearch allow important events to be located and reviewed more efficiently.
The recorder supports video encoding at up to 4K/8MP resolution, H.265 Pro+ compression and up to 32 IP camera inputs when configured for expanded IP operation. Two SATA hard-drive bays support up to 12TB per drive, providing a maximum potential storage capacity of 24TB. Hik-Connect compatibility enables convenient remote live viewing, playback and system access from compatible mobile devices.
