Lockwood ES2600-1 Strike, 650kg, Monitored, PTL, Roller Keeper for Panic Bar, 12V DC
The Lockwood ES2600-1 is a high-security, surface-mounted electric strike designed for emergency and egress doors fitted with panic bars and Pullman-type latches. When connected to an access-control system, it allows authorised entry from the secure side while maintaining free emergency exit through the panic bar.
Manufactured from solid stainless steel, the ES2600-1 provides a 650kg static holding force and has been endurance tested to one million operations. Its anti-friction roller keeper promotes smooth, reliable operation and accommodates panic bars with a 15–20mm Pullman latch projection.
The strike operates on 12V DC and is supplied in Power to Lock—fail-safe—configuration, meaning the door unlocks when power is removed. It can also be converted on site to fail-secure operation when required. Independent solenoid and latch/door monitoring outputs allow the access-control system to monitor the strike’s locking and door-latch status.
