The VORTEX IT833-HVW is a premium cloud-managed security camera designed to deliver intelligent video surveillance without the need for a traditional onsite recorder. Combining high-resolution imaging, advanced AI analytics and built-in local storage, it provides a flexible security solution for homes, businesses, retail premises and commercial sites.
Its 5MP progressive-scan CMOS sensor captures detailed video at up to 2560 × 1920 resolution, while the fixed 2.8mm lens provides a wide 103.4° horizontal field of view for monitoring entrances, driveways, offices and open areas. WDR Pro technology helps balance bright and dark areas within the same scene, providing clearer footage in challenging lighting conditions.
The camera features intelligent hybrid illumination with both infrared and warm-white light. At night, it can provide discreet infrared monitoring or activate its warm light when a person or vehicle is detected, producing clearer colour footage while also acting as a visible deterrent. Its illumination range extends up to 30 metres.
Advanced onboard AI can distinguish between people and vehicles, helping reduce unwanted alerts caused by weather, shadows, animals or general movement. Supported analytics include intrusion detection, line-crossing detection, loitering detection and intelligent searches based on people, vehicles, attributes and scenes.
A factory-installed 256GB industrial-grade SD card provides secure edge recording within the camera. Through the VORTEX cloud platform, authorised users can remotely view live video, review recordings, receive event notifications and manage cameras from compatible computers and mobile devices.
The included one-year VORTEX xPro licence automatically activates when the camera is added to a VORTEX account. It provides access to advanced cloud management and AI-powered features, including Deep Search, intelligent event notifications and up to 30GB of cloud archive capacity per camera.

Licence notice: The included xPro licence begins when the camera is first added to a VORTEX account. A paid licence renewal will be required after the initial one-year period to continue using the applicable VORTEX cloud services. Continuous 24/7 cloud backup is an optional add-on and is not included with the standard xPro licence.
